Jacob Elordi is a genuine fashion icon!! You bring up a great point about how timeless men’s wardrobe is, especially compared to the fickle trends of a female wardrobe. I feel like recent years, when quiet luxury has been at its peak has allowed women a taste of timeless wardrobes. I wonder what will happen now that we are obviously entering our Chloe era…

Agreed— totally makes sense why all the coolest celeb ladies have fallen for Jacob and his immaculate style :D

And I’m so curious about that too! My best guess is that we may be a bit more careful dipping our toes into the Chloe waters. E.g., combining a more timeless wardrobe base with a few standout ruffle/boho/Chloe-core pieces instead of committing to a whole new ‘aesthetic’.

Definitely agree that there's so much you can learn from people IRL that you can't from any other source, whether that be regarding fashion or any other topic. My biggest style inspiration is my mom! She always looks so put-together and elegant.

In the past couple of years, a lot of my style "influencers" have been men—men who emphasize good quality and construction and timelessness. However, as a woman who gets bored easily, I can't help adding a pinch of my own "visual spice" 😂

I love that!

And as a fellow woman who gets bored easily I'm exactly the same hahaha! Would love to know what you use for visual spice-- I'm loving hair clips & ribbons with my more classic outfits right now :)

My friends and I call this "the girlfriend effect": when a guy gets a girlfriend and their style gets better. Same - I enjoy shopping for my boyfriend and finding him cool graphic t shirts, hats, & jackets. He also have a very classic and traditional style, I'd say almost to a tee of what you've described of your boyfriend. Interestingly enough, just this past weekend for the first time, he revealed some of his 'style goals' and a fresh look that he is looking to explore. We have a fun and relaxed conversation over a couple cocktails, and he even humoured me with a 'fashion show' to experiment with a few styling tips, like tucking his t-shirts into his pants, something that in his eyes is reserved for more formal wear. Anyway, it was a great conversation and allowed me to guide and express my knowledge about style, and even challenged me as I was styling a man, instead of myself. Great read!
